The Gods Of Blood And Honey is an audio drama built from the first book in the Unburied Gods Cycle, which will publish in full on Halloween of 2026.
The audio drama will be released on Spotify chapter-by-chapter instead of the entire book at once, allowing each production cycle to focus on a small, easily-managed product. It is designed for a crew of three, few cast, and flexible schedules for all involved.
CREW
The crew will consist of three people:
TRACKING ENGINEER: record vocals, arrange takes
NARRATION DIRECTOR: direct performance of narrator
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: schedule, project management
CAST
ZAJEIRA: female, 20s. Deadly, intimidating, nerdy, awkward
LAZHAN: male, 20s. Angry, exasperated, tired, caring
AMUR: male, 20s. Seductive, playful, greedy, fascinated
EQUIPMENT
Lowry Studios has a professional-level voice recording booth and sound production suite that is open all summer during regular business hours. We are the only audio production seeking to reserve it over the summer, and so have free rein to schedule however is most convenient for all cast and crew.
COMPENSATION
Each chapter will be treated as its own production in regards to payment. For chapter one, each role will be paid as follows:
NARRATION DIRECTOR: $40 upon completion
TRACKING ENGINEER: $20 day rate
ZAJEIRA: $25 on set for 22 voicelines
LAZHAN: $20 on set for 15 voicelines
AMUR: $15 on set for 9 voicelines
Craft services and lunch will be provided
